Sarah Cox is an award-winning journalist and author based in Victoria, B.C. She has been covering energy and environmental politics for The Narwhal since 2016. Sarah is the author of the 2018 book Breaching the Peace: The Site C Dam and a Valley’s Stand Against Big Hydro.

Jason Ching is a research scientist for the University of Washington's Alaska Salmon Program. He captures sockeye salmon runs and migration on camera while studying the freshwater systems of Bristol Bay, Alaska. Jason believes in the power that impactful imagery has to help spread important messages in conservation and share an appreciation for our remaining natural spaces and wildlife.
