Katłįà (Catherine) Lafferty, a member of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation, has authored two books and is Indigenous liaison for the Pacific Legal Education and Outreach Society. She served as communication manager of Akaitcho Treaty 8 Tribal Corporation, and is pursuing a law degree at the University of Victoria.
